Dragon card (color)

The work is inspired by the traditional Chinese totem-dragon. The dragon has an important and unique cultural significance to the Chinese nation. The image of the dragon has sprouted in the late Neolithic period. After the rapid development during the Shang, Zhou and Warring States periods, the current totem significance has basically formed in the Qin and Han Dynasties. The cultural story behind "Dragon" has been continuously enriched and evolving even today after a thousand years.
"Dragon" not only symbolized imperial power and majesty in ancient times, but also contained the beautiful vision of ancient Chinese working people praying for good weather and good harvest. Today the image of the dragon is no longer just privately owned by the royal family. It has become a spiritual symbol of the Chinese nation; it implies auspiciousness, wealth, power, and the long-lasting spiritual inheritance of the Chinese nation. It is one of the most vital artistic images.
The works are made of green glaze. After being fired at a high temperature of 1350℃, the glaze is bright and clear, warm and moist like jade, calm and generous, and highlights the details of the shape.
(The work is decorated with a variety of high-temperature color glazes, making it more difficult to fire. The color matching is harmonious and the details are vivid, making the overall picture more vivid.)
The image of the dragon is upright and majestic, the clouds and beads are vivid, the composition is complete, and the auspicious clouds are entangled in layers. It gives a strong visual impact and has a traditional auspicious meaning and a full decorative sense.
